ISES Austin regularly holds educational events for their members, rotating content and themes with the latest industry trends. Savvy was asked to plan a program focusing on luxury vendors that included a networking cocktail hour, panel discussion and the opportunity for guests to have fun and experience what the vendors have to offer. When discussing luxury, we immediately thought of Marie Antoinette and a Versailles masquerade ball. To keep it current and incorporate modern trends, we mixed in elements from a 1980’s dance party. We used classic bright 80’s colors for the palette and incorporated Warhol-style art throughout the space, as well as a classic video game arcade. Tying in to the Marie Antoinette theme, we featured a life-size ball gown made entirely of plants and flowers and a 6 ft. ice guillotine. The vendor program was designed as a fan that guests could use as props along with masquerade masks as takeaways. The string quartet donned white wigs and rotated between classical and 80’s pop music. Servers were dressed in masquerade attire and a Marie Antoinette drag queen was our hostess for the evening.
“Our team worked an amazing event constructed and lead by the Savvy Events team back in October! They had a fun vision and absolutely executed it to perfection. It was so great to watch it all come to life! Not only do [they] have the creativeness to make your event unique, but they have the knowledge and expertise to pull it off without a hitch and make it fabulous. Can you say indoor fireworks?! So fun! We hope to work with the Savvy team again soon!!”
